Let Your Kids Hold You Accountable – Amazing Story!
I just had to share this quick post today after my conversation with a sales partner who had put some accountability in place to help him be more successful and driven. For an independent rep in the field, accountability really is tough to come by. While you are usually independent because you don’t like having someone constantly looking over your shoulder, at the same time you need accountability to achieve your true potential.

The independent sales partner to whom I recently spoke has trained his young kids to greet him every day when he comes home from the field. Now my kids greet me, as well. They run up yelling, “Daddy, Daddy!” (One of the best parts of my day.) This sales partner added something powerful to the special moment each day. He has taught his kids to ask a simple question each day when he returns from work, after they greet him and get out some of their energy:
“Dad, did you talk to enough business owners today to provide a good life for our family?”
WOW!!!! Imagine hearing that every day from your kids when you get home and knowing while you’re in the field that you will have to answer it later. This sales person has been very successful in a variety of fields. I believe his commitment to accountability is a key driver in his success. I am excited that he has chosen to join our team and partner with Integrity Payment Systems; I know he will do great!
