My Biggest Mistake in 2014 - #Focus2015Live - CCSalesPro

I am someone who enjoys tackling 15 challenges at the same time.  This is not a very productive habit and it is something that I have had to overcome personally.  Success in life comes from focusing on a few important things and becoming the best in those areas.  My biggest mistake in 2014 was creating a culture that emphasized complexity rather than focus within our sales team.

If you have been following our company during the last year, you have seen invitations to live training events for our various reseller programs including merchant services, web design, point of sale systems and payroll services.  Our company has more than doubled our revenues year over year, more than doubled our recruiting numbers and we have rolled out a suite of services that our customers love.  This is exciting but without the right focus, it can create unnecessary confusion and complexity.

The title of our live event where we will kick off our programs for 2015 is “Focus in 2015.”  This live event for sales professionals will outline the new tools and programs we have created to accomplish our mission of enabling committed, independent sales partners for success.  These tools will provide a measurable advantage to our team, but that is not the most important change at our company.  The most important change at our company will be a new focus on the action steps that matter for our sales partners. 

We are outlining a new success path for each of our service lines and we will be seeking sales partners who want to become the expert in their chosen field while partnering with us through our new marketing platform to grow their profit per account over time.  I will not take time to outline our entire marketing platform here, but the best way to describe it is this.  We have the only marketing platform for independent sales partners that allows them to focus their time and energy on creating new accounts while simultaneously nurturing their prospects and clients to increase their monthly profit per client.

Our core value of “Always Leveraging” has positioned us perfectly to take advantage of new technology.  We have a CRM system, together with an online content marketing strategy, integrated with our independent sales partner team that will leave our competitors in the dust.  The key to success for our sales partners will come from focusing on what they do best and allowing our systems and technology to leverage their time and their client relationships to accomplish more than they thought possible.
