This short video is designed to help you create a sense of urgency when selling merchant services.  Here  are some tips:

#1 – Make sure you have a good system of follow up in place. If you are on our sales team you can use our free CRM database. Rather than worrying about being urgent, focus on being consistent with following up with new prospects.

#2 – Still having trouble though with getting business owners to close, create some deadline dates. Use dates in your pitch like, “We can offer you a free terminal and a month-to-month agreement as long as we are able to complete the paperwork this month.”

#3 – You could also use special programs for a limited time to create urgency. Here is a good example of a special program: “Anyone who signs up this month gets $100 cash once the terminal is installed.” Notice this sets a deadline for the business owner in order to get the deal closed in a timely manner .
