Our weekly sales tip this week is how to build trust with your prospects. Here are three straight forward tips on how to build trust with your prospects:

Talk to them about their business: When you walk into a business you want to start off by talking about the business. Most business owners are passionate about their business, therefore talking to them about their business first would be the best way to build trust.

Don’t run off with a Statement: Giving the sales agent a statement would be a bad decision because it is a big deal. You would have to have a really big sense of trust for this sales agent because you are giving them a really sensitive piece of information on your business.

Build trust on something small so you can use that trust on something big later on: If you can make someone trust you in a small area they will be able to trust you in a big area. You need to understand process statements so you can point out the little things. Explain the statement and have confidence so you will be able to build that trust with the prospects.
