This is a fairly complex question that James simplifies for this short video. Every transaction has fees that are included. All the different parties that are involved in the process must receive their share. The price charged the business owner above the other fees is called the gross margin. A percentage of this gross margin is what goes to the sales agent. (called residual) A residual income is the money you receive monthly for every actively processing small business owner that you sell. For example, if you make $30 residual for every account you sale and you sell 100 accounts you would be making $3,000 a month. Most agents can sell about 10 new deals a month so that means their residual would increase by $300 a month on top of what they are already receiving.
